As part of measures to reposition Abia state Polytechnic Aba for effective service delivery, the management has announced the disengagement of 258 staff of the institution.

This is according to a release signed by Mrs Chinyere Eze on behalf of the management.

The statement also added that the school has commenced the verification of staff and their certificates in line with the recommendation of the state Executive Council in April 2019.

The release reads, In our determined drive to reposition Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, for greater operational efficiency we wish to inform members of the public that we have commenced the implementation of the review report on verification of staff and their certificates, as approved by the state executive council in April 2019.
