President of the senate, Bukola Saraki, has expressed concerns that the federal government might be exposed to sabotage from within.

While reacting to the debate of the 2018 in the senate and the benchmark on which the proposal is hinged, Sen. Saraki said he sometimes wonder "if technocrats want to embarrass government."

“This year we only did 1.9 million barrels per day and the budget is predicated on 2.3 million, the concern is how realistic is that going to be.

Antonio Conte was sent to the stands for the second half as Chelsea claimed its fifth Premier League win in six games with a 1-0 defeat of Swansea on Wednesday.

The Chelsea coach was dismissed from the touchline by referee Neil Swarbrick moments before the interval after furiously protesting the award of a Swansea goal kick.

The Italian at first sat behind the dugout, but then had to move due to the proximity of his new seat to his coaching staff.

On the field, Antonio Rudiger's 55th-minute header proved decisive. It was Rudiger's first Premier League goal.

The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has suspended the Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Mounir Gwarzo, from Office, to allow for an unhindered investigation of several allegations of financial impropriety leveled against the Director-General.

The suspension is in line with the Public Service Rules 03405 and 03406.

In a statement by the deputy director press in the ministry, Patricia Deworitshe, the minister has set up an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to investigate and determine the culpability of the Director-General.

The Federal Government has declared Friday, 1st December, 2017 as Public Holiday to mark the Eid-El-Maulud Celebration.

Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians to use the Eid-El-Maulud Celebration to pray for peace, progress and unity of the nation.

He further urged all Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration towards building the nation.

The Honourable Minister wishes Nigerians a happy Eid-El-Maulud Celebration.

President Muhammadu Buhari may have given the first informal indication that he will be contesting in  the 2019 Presidential election.

The Cable reports that the President, on the heels of the 5th European Union/African Union summit holding in Abidjan, told the Nigerian community there, that he came to their meeting with their governors as “it may earn another vote for me in the future”.

She is 2 months away from her 10th birthday and her admission into secondary school turned soar sooner than it tasted beautiful. 
Kamzie according to her mother, resumed as a J.S.S. 1 student at Louis Ville Girls' Secondary School Gwagwalada, Abuja in September. By October 2nd, she was severely sick but was neglected by staff and school authorities who thought she was pretending. 

Her situation got worse and she visited the school's clinic again where she was given paracetamol and sent back to the hostel on October 7.

239 Nigerian Migrants including men, women and children on Tuesday returned from Libya aboard a Libyan Airline flight.
 
The Federal Government in collaboration with IOM (International Organization of Migration) have been working together in facilitating the return of Nigerian Migrants in Libya for over a year now. Many had traveled illegally through the desert trying to reach Italy via Libya before finding themselves in tight situations, thrown into jail for illegal entry or falling into the hands of wrong people and being sold into slavery/prostitution . .

One half of the split music group, Psquare, says he regrets his role in the rift that engulfed his family that led to the break up of the PSquare group.

Paul Okoye, while on an interview with Beat FM said he acted stupid during the crises and that he regrets it. He berated himself for shading his brother on social media during the crises.

“I think I was very stupid, in that aspect. Something got into me. I couldn’t stand him. But what I did, I regretted it. Please forgive me for that and let me move on.”
