The All Progressives Congress will not have candidates for the Governorship, National and State Assembly elections in 2019. The reason is because the party failed to meet up with the time allowed for the conduct of party primaries.

A letter signed by the commission's acting Secretary, Okechukwu Ndeche, said the electoral time table provided that primaries be conducted between 18th of August and 7th of October. But APC failed to meet up with the time.
