south east governors,

South East Governor's Forum after their emergency meeting at the government House Abakaliki has agreed to deploy 100 luxury Buses and 200 trailers/Trucks to evacuate all the Igbo families that may wish to relocate to their home states.

The emergency arrangement came following the notice given Igbos in the north by some radical northern youths to leave within three months or face violent eviction.

Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Wednesday ordered the arrest and prosecution of the signatories to the statement which issued the threat.

HOMELAND NEWS gathered from Osondu Nnachi of the Government House, Abakaliki, that the governors also agreed to make available N500, 000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira) for each of the affected family."
