President of the Nigeria Senate, Bukola Saraki  has cautioned members of the senate to bring an end to the face-off that has always existed between the executive and legislative arms.

According to the Senate President, the days of endless attacks and balderdash are over.

Speaking in response to a bill titled “The illegal extension of the tenure of the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)“ sponsored by Senator Emmanuel Paulker of Bayelsa state, Saraki said “the days of always attacking the executive is over. We must not be involved in acts of balderdash. I suggest that we handle it amicably and allow the relevant committees to meet with the SGF and look at the issue“

He did not allow a debate on the motion moved by senator Paulker
