President Muhammadu Buhari has officially taken control of his office 81 days after he returned from his medical trip to London, United Kingdom. 

The President, after his return to the country had to make use of offices in his official residence and the Presidential Bnguet Hall due to the fact that his main office had been devastated by rodents.

According to his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Garba Shehu, the office needed renovation because of it the damage caused by rodents during the President's long period of absence from office.

Pres. Buhari has however returned to his main office as he was seen entering the office on Thursday for the first time since his return from London. He later inaugurated the Armed Forces Council within the office space and subsequently presided over the first meeting of the council.
