Reactions have continued to trail the conduct and results of the just concluded Anambra State Governorship poll

While congratulating the people of Anambra State for the peaceful outcome of the election, the leadership o the Nigeria Labour Congress also  commended the INEC for a hitch conduct of the poll

Statement signed by the President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba  said in spite of initial glitches, especially at its early stage the election has been adjudged to be substantially peaceful, transparent, credible, fair and a representation of the wishes of the electorate.

The NLC urged NEC to build on the success recorded in the conduct of subsequent elections in the country

In the same vein, the Inspector-General of Police has commended men and officers of the force and other security personnels deployed to Anambra State  for the security provided during conduct of the poll

In a statement issued and signed by the Force Image Maker, Jimoh Moshood the IGP extol the high level of professionalism, politeness, firmness and unbiased conducts of the Police Personnel, before, during and after the election.

The police boss in the statement also lauded the law abiding attitude and peaceful conduct of the good people of Anambra State, the INEC officials and the role played by other stakeholders

He assured of the commitment of the Force to sustain the elections security successes recorded in Gubernatorial Elections in Edo and Ondo States and the just concluded Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State as an index for the conduct of subsequent elections in the Country.
