Former governor of Ondo state, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has officially resigned his membership of the people's democratic party, PDP.

This is coming amidst report that he is planning to return to the Labour Party

In a three paragraphs letter addressed to the Secretariat of the PDP and a copy made available to journalists, Dr Mimiko said he took the decision because of some well thought-out personal reasons.

Report says Dr Mimiko who ruled Ondo state between February 2009 and 2017, is said to have concluded plans to return to the Labour Party at his ward 7 in Ondo West local government area of the state.
