President Muhammadu Buhari has finally received his expression of interest and nomination forms that was purchased for him by a group, Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network (NCAN), last week.

The group presented the forms to him at the Banquet Hall of the presidential villa, Abuja this morning.

National Coordinator of the group, Sanusi Musa had said  that the N45m expended on the purchase of the Form was generated through contributions made by the supporters and admirers of President Buhari.

While thanking the group for their kind gesture, President Buhari recalled how he had struggled since 2002 to have the opportunity to lead the country again and how he is immensely grateful for being given a third opportunity.

Criticism had trailed reports that a group offered to donate the nomination form to the President.  Those who are against the move said it will be introducing a dangerous trend that may provide covering for corrupt people.
