Chief Salis Owolabi, the Lagos state governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) has insisted that the result of the election that produced Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the governor elect was unacceptable to him and  vowed the challenge it in court.

According to Punch, his position was contained in a statement made available on Wednesday in Lagos.

He said, “I will not and I am not accepting the result of the governorship election because it was fraud against the people of Lagos State.

“The election was full of many irregularities, people were intimidated while coming out to exercise their right. In addition, multiple votings were carried out in many polling units.

“Everything was done by the All Progressives Congress, APC to take credit from the Alliance for Democracy, counting votes of other parties for themselves. “

Insisting that the election was not free and fair, he claimed that he has enough evidence to reclaim his mandate and he is also assembling his legal team challenge the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and the All Progressive party, APC at the election petition tribunal.
