There are speculations that security agencies might  be preparing for possible release of the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzakky from detention, while reports reaching us have it that the Kaduna-Abuja highway has been blocked for hours.

Details still sketchy, but passersby say the protest could be against alleged shooting of an innocent person by police personnel.

It will be recalled that a Kaduna state high court last week granted the application by the Shiite group leader to be allowed to travel abroad for medical treatment.

El-Zakzakky and his wife has been in custody since December 2015 after his followers had a confrontation with the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff.

We will bring you details as it unfolds.
