The Special Anti Robbery Squad operatives of the Benue State Police Command, has recovered a Toyota Hummer Bus with registration number MKD 633 ZN which was reported to have been stolen at gunpoint.

Initial investigation by the police reveals that the driver and some other accomplice staged the robbery in order to sell the vehicle later. 

As at the time the vehicle was found, the colour has already been tampered with.

A statement signed by the spokesman of the Benue state police command, Moses Joel Yamu, gave the names of the suspects as:

a. Asen Ahularza -Driver of the vehicle who reported the vehicle robbed
b. Mathew Atsenga - Suspect who received the vehicle at Aliade
c. Victor Jam and Suuter Ichol both drivers with Benue Links 
d. Babatunde Kolawole -Painter who painted the vehicle all white and
e. Bala Jagaba -Conductor whose possession the vehicle was recovered.

The statement said the suspects will be charged soon.
