Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria also known as the Shiite Group today held another protest in the federal capital territory, against the continued detention of their leader El-Zakzaky.

The group also said they are marching in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

They likened the reported killing of Palestinian citizens to alleged killing of Shiites in Nigeria.

After series of warnings  by security agencies and a few clashes with operatives, the group vows to continue  their protest until their leader is freed.

El-Zakzaky has been in detention since December 2015, after a clash between his members and soldiers.  The Shiite movement on procession in Kaduna, had blocked a major highway, denying the Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Buratai access.
