Five persons kidnapped on Thursday along a forest in Ogun state are now free. 

Ogun state police command confirms that in addition to the woman earlier released on Saturday, 4 others were rescued unhurt by men of the state police force.

Mrs. Ibelegbo Chidinma, the only woman among the victims, is a Deaconess of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

She was on her way to the church event in Lagos when they were attacked and abducted by suspected gunmen around J3 forest on Ogbere road, in Ijebu-East Local Government Area of Ogun state. 

Public Relations Officer of the command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed the rescue to journalists in a statement.
