nff unveils new coach sunday oliseh

Former Captain of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh has been unveiled as the coach of the country’s national team.

He was presented on Wednesday in Abuja, and he replaces another former captain of the team, Stephen Keshi who took the team to a nation’s cup victory in 2013.

Mr. Oliseh who appeared excited with his new job said he is ready to give his all.

“I am ready 150% to serve my fatherland and give my best to uplift the national team” He said.

While some football analysts and ethusiasts have expressed reservation about Sunday Oliseh's abilities as a manager, others particularly from the family of former internationals have thrown their weight behind the new coach.

The first challenge that will determine how far the man who defined the defensive midfield role in the Super Eagles during his playing days will go, will be qualifying Nigeria for the Nations Cup.
