The Nigeria Football Federation has given a nod to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna to host the Africa Nations Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Egypt on the 26th of March.

The NFF delegation led by its General Secretary Mohammed Sanusi, explained that Kaduna is okay, but they would have to pay follow-up visits before the match is played to ensure that it is in perfect condition.

But at the main bowl, the visitors expressed dissatisfaction with the grass on the pitch, instructing the Stadium Manager, Gideon Malo to ensure that it is attended to.

At the changing room, they want the management to put in extra work.

The team frowned at the absence of some of the facility, urging Nigerians especially residents of Kaduna to welcome the team warmly.

It will be recalled that the Super Eagles of Nigeria has complained about using the venue for serious games because of the quality of the peach and weather realising that the bulk of the team is based in Europe.  Some argue that playing in Kaduna will be more like home for the Egyptians than the Nigerian team.

NFF seems to have a different view entirely and this may cause Nigeria the chance to progress in the qualifier.
