Not much is usually known about many foreign based Nigerian footballers who didn't begin their career back home. In some cases, their root is usually a subject of debates and arguments.

But for the Arsenal forward whose late strike on Saturday, ensured that Nigeria will participate in the 2018 world cup in Russia, he does not just have a traceable root but evidence that football runs in his blood.
