The Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps said three persons died in an accident at Lotto, opposite NNPC Filing Station on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, on Friday.

One person also sustained injuries in the accident which involved two vehicles, according to the agency.

Mr Olusola Ojuoro, the Mowe/Ibafo Area Commander of TRACE, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Ota, Ogun State, that the accident happened at about 8.45 a.m.

Prices of data and telecommunication services are expected to crash by 40 percent following steps so far taken by the Federal Government to attract huge local and foeign investments, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami has assured.

According to the Minister, the government has addressed two critical challenges in the telecommunications industry, particularly Right of Way (RoW) Charges and infrastructural protection and development.

Oil prices plunged by almost a third Monday, the biggest drop since the 1991 Gulf War, as top exporter Saudi Arabia launched a price war after Russia blocked a bid to cut output.

In ferocious trading, both main crude contracts nosedived following Riyadh’s shock move to slash prices after the alliance between oil-exporting group OPEC and its partners fell apart.

At a meeting last week, Saudi Arabia led a push by OPEC ministers to reduce output to counter the impact of the coronavirus outbreak — but it hinged on agreement from the group’s allies, foremost among them Moscow.
