The DSS has accused the anti -graft agency, EFCC of using its name to carry out illegal operations in another act that shows the division among agencies under federal government.

The repudiation which was contained in a statement  issued by Tony Opuiyo, said,

“The Department of State Services (DSS) has noted, with dismay and total condemnation, the activities of impostors including some security agencies who have continually engaged in illegal security operations, allegedly in the name of the Service, in parts of the country.”

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission HAS arraigned a serving judge of the Federal High Court, Hyeladzira Nganjiwa, for alleged unlawful enrichment to the tune of two hundred and sixty thousand dollars and eight point six million naira.
Justice Nganjiwa, who is attached to the Bayelsa Division of the Federal High Court, was arraigned on fourteen counts before the Lagos State High Court.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has filed fresh charges against two judges who were recently recalled by the National Judicial Council.

The judges, Hyeladzira Nganjiwa, and Mohammed Yunusa are among the six judges recalled by the NJC on Saturday.

The NJC had identified the government’s failure to charge them to court as the key reason for recalling them.

The government had slammed the decision and vowed to charge the judges to court soon.

Now the EFCC has filed charges against two of the judges.
