The Federal Government says it has further confirmed from results  of tests conducted on prospective National Youth Service Corps members that no part of the country was  free of COVID-19.

The Minister of State for Health, Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora, made the disclosure on Monday in Abuja at a briefing by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.

The Minister of Power, Engr. Sale Mamman, has said that the Nigeria’s installed grid power generation capacity has grown from 8,000mw to 13,000mw under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Mamman made this known on Wednesday during the 2021 budget defence before the House of Representatives Committee on Power in Abuja.

He also said that the distribution system had the capacity to evacuate 5,500mw of power having grown from 4,500mw in 2015.

Mr Clement Agba, the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, says Nigeria has received $26.94 billion Development Assistance funds from International Donors between 2015 and 2020.

Agba made this known on Tuesday in Abuja while briefing House of Representatives Committee on Civil Society and Development Partners on Donor Funds Receipts, Transfers and Disbursement to Government Agencies, Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organisations in Nigeria.
