Nigeria has recorded 1368 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing the total number confirmed infections in the country to 148,296.

Announcing the new figures in a late night tweet on Tuesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed that thecountry  also recorded 16 fresh COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours under review.

The Health Agency said the new cases were reported from 28 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 8 new deaths and 574 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infection in Nigeria to 146,928.

The Health Agency announced the new figures in a late night tweet via its official twitter handle on Monday.

The Centre said the new cases were reported from 21 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.

According to the NCDC, of the new cases, 98 were recorded in Kwara, 81 in Lagos, 59 in Edo, 44 in Ondo and 41 in FCT.

Announcing the new figures in a late night tweet on Sunday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) disclosed that the country also recorded 5 fresh COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours under review.

The Health Agency said the new cases were reported from 19 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
