Nigeria has recorded 1,056 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 141,447.

Announcing the new figures in a late night tweet on Tuesday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) disclosed that the country also recorded 21 freash COVID-19 reated deaths in the last 24 hours under review.

The Health Agency said the new cases were reported from 22 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.

Nigeria has recorded 643 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing te total number of confirmed infections in the country to 140,391.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in a late night tweet on Monday.

The NCDC said 6 more COVID-19 related deaths were recorded across the country.

The Health Agency said the new cases were reported from 19 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.

According to the NCDC, of the new cases, 88 were recorded in Oyo, 86 in Lagos, 55 in Rivers, 54 in Edo and 53 in Akwa Ibom state.

Announcing the new figures in a late night tweet on Sunday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed that the country also recorded 20 new COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours under review.

The Health Agency said the new cases were reported from 20 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
