After Monday meeting held by the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress in Abuja, NLC president, Ayuba Wabba, said the scheduled protest would still hold because it was meant to get all parties committed to the minimum wage issue.

Some leaders of the PDP today, Friday, marched to the head quarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission, with a demand for the commission to declare its candidate during the Osun state governorship election, Ademola Adeleke, winner of the polls.

The election which was conducted two weeks ago had the APC candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, as winner.

The protesters were however dispersed by the police teargas as they marched on the Head Quarters of the Nigerian Police force.

One of the offices of a leading telecom service provider in Nigeria, MTN was on Wednesday destroyed by irate youths who are said to be protesting the indiscriminate barring of customers' lines by the company.

Angry customers stormed the MTN office along Wetheral road in Owerri destroying the MTN facility and grounding business activity to a halt.
