President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the indicted Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal. He was indicted in a contract scandal worth N250m for cutting grasses at the IDP camp.

Also sacked is Ayo Oke, a former Director General of the National Intelligence Agency. Mr. Oke was alleged to have illegally housed millions of dollars and other currencies in an Ikoyi apartment. 

The President appointed Boss Mustapha as the new Secretary to the Federal Government

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered an interim forfeiture of 14 properties which allegedly belong to the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Bala Mohammed, and his son, Shamsuddeen.

The court granted the interim forfeiture order upon an ex parte application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
