At about 12.10 this afternoon, a suicide bomber attacked a military checkpoint on the outskirts of Maiduguri causing casualties.
The number of people who died in the incident that occurred at the Jimtilo checkpoing on Maiduguri’s southern fringes is not known at the moment.
Information so far is from the civilian vigilantes helping troops in the fight against Boko Haram.
