An explosion has killed five people in Damaturu, capital of Yobe State at an Eid-el-fitr praying ground.
A source told HOMELAND NEWS that many more people were injured in the blasts.
Extra information available to HOMELAND NEWS says the newly appointed Chief of Army staff; Major General Tukur Buratai was billed to be in the city today. for the celebration of the muslim festival.
Reuters reports that an eyewitness, Muhammad Adamu the blasts came twice.
The incident took place about 8am. Though no one has claimed responsibility, Boko Haram is suspected to have masterminded the attack.
