Reports making the rounds suggest that the former Chief Security Officer to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, is not well.
Gordon Obuah, an operative of the Department of State Services is said to be critically ill at the National Hospital Abuja.
His photograph lying on a hospital bed was made public on the social media by those who claimed to be his friends.
It is reported that since Mr. Obua returned from a four-day detention by the DSS, his life has not remained the same with constant pain and distress. He was said to have suffer deep mental and physical injuries while in DSS custody.
There is yet no direct link between the former CSO’s detention and current ailment but HOMELAND NEWS learnt the family is already planning to seek better medical attention abroad.
Mr. Obuah’s arrest and detention by the DSS coincided with the siege on the residence of the former National Security Adviser, Col, Sambo Dasuki by operatives of the DSS which raised speculation that he was held in connection with corruption allegaions.
However, there are views that Mr. Obuah’s ordeal is directly connected with service issues of the DSS.
