After the naming and shaming exercise by deposit money banks began on Monday with 9 banks releasing the names of their chronic debtors, 4 have followed.
The four banks are First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Access Bank Plc, Diamond Bank Plc and Unity Bank Plc.
On Monday, Zenith Bank Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Union Bank Plc, Sterling Bank Plc, Skye Bank Plc, Fidelity Bank Plc, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Heritage Bank Limited and Enterprise Bank Limited made public the names of those whose debt profile has become a burden to the financial institutions.
The lists contain names of many prominent Nigerians and their companies.
