The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation has been restructured from eight to four directorates. This is a fall out of fresh move to reposition the corporation.
Earlier on Wednesday, all the Executive Directors were relieved of their duties.
The new arrangements now have Dr. M.K. Baru as Executive Director incharge of Refining and Engineering. Exploration and Production has Dennis Nnamdi as Executive Dirctor. Bankole Komolafe is the new Executive Director of Commercial and Investment while Finance directorate has Isiaka AbdulRazak as Executive Director.
All the new GEDs were Group General Managers.
It will be recalled that on Tuesday, President Buhari appointed Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the new Group Managing Director of NNPC beginning the process of an attempt to turn around the Corporation.
