Nigeria has recorded 136 new cases of the novel Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 158,460.
Announcing the new figures in a late night tweet on Monday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), disclosed that the country also recorded three new COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours under review.
The new figures were reported from 13 states including the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
According to the Health Agency, of the new cases, 71 were recorded in Lagos, 23 in Plateau, 12 Adamawa and 6 in Oyo.
Other states with new cases include, 6 Kaduna-5 Abia-3 FCT-3 Katsina-2 Kwara-2 Bauchi-1 Borno-1 Edo-1.
NCDC said till date, 58,460 cases have been confirmed, 49,895 treated and discharged and 1,111 deaths reported in 36 states and the FCT.
