DJ-Switch

A campaign has begun to persuade Canadian authorities to refuse the purported request for asylum by DJ Switch.

According to media reports, DJ Switch, who was at the forefront of the #endsars protests,  fled the country to Canada where reports claim she will testify at the parliament.

A petition is already being signed to present to the government of Canada,  demanding that the DJ,  born Obianuju Udeh, return to the country and testify at the panel of inquiry as a prime witness at the events of October 20, at Lekki toll gate Lagos.

After weeks of protests, the Central Bank of Nigeria secured an order of the court to freeze bank accounts of key figures in the protest.

The action has been greeted by outrage among those who believe  there is no reason for government to infringe on the rights of citizens.
