Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki has been arraigned at a Federal High Court in Abuja by the Department of State Services on allegation of illegal possession of arm.
Acting Spokesman of the DSS, Tony Opuiyo had last week said the former NSA was charged to court after a search on his home revealed that the revealed that the retired army colonel was up to some mischief.
“The search operation led to the recovery of large cache of arms and ammunition among other things and for which further investigation was conducted.
“Consequently, on Monday 24th August, 2015, he was charged to court based on evidence so far obtained, but which relates to possession of fire arms without license,” Opuiyo stated.
