The past weeks have seen dozens of explosions in the North Eastern part of Nigeria and scores of lives wasted in their trail. But between Sunday and Tuesday, the terrorist are getting out of the traditional violent places to attack areas that have seen relative peace for several months now. Latest on the row is Kaduna.
Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has visited the site of the explosion this morning at the government lodge in Sabon Gari area of Zaria.
Most of the 20 people who have been confirmed dead are civil servants who came for a verification exercise.
The governor expressed his feeling on his twitter account @elrufai where he urged the people to remain vigilant and stay off crowded places.
He expressed sadness that terrorist struck in his state. The governor assured that the state government is working with Federal security agencies that are taking proactive measures to frustrate the terrorists.
