President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, has read out the list of the second batch of ministerial nominees. Suprises greeted the announcment as some of the names speculated in the past few days were missing.
The 16 man list which was read in plenary by Senate President Bukola Saraki include former Chairman, Senate Committee on Water Resources in the 7th Senate, Heineken Lokpobiri.
Others on the list include, Khadija Buka Abba Ibrahim, Claudius Omoleye Daramola, Professor Anthony Onwuka, Jeffery Onyema, Brigadier General Monsur Dan Ali, Barrister James Ocholi, Zainab Ahmed, Okechukwu Enilama and Muhammadu Bello.
The remaining are Mustapha Baba Shehuri, Aisha Abubakar, Adamu Adamu, Professor Isaac Adewole, Pastor Usani Uguru and Abubakar Dawa.
Meanwhile, Senator representing FCT, Philip Aduda protested the exclusion of FCT indigene from the ministerial nominees forwarded to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari but the Deputy President of the Senate in his contribution urged for states names to be attached to the nominees in subsequent time
