Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko has said that the only way to bring about genuine change is to return the country to the path of true federalism.
Gov. Mimiko made the submission in Ibadan on Friday at the inauguration of a private radio station, Petals FM, owned by Mr Yinka and Dr (Mrs) Joe Okei-Odumakin.
This came as the secretary of the Yoruba Unity Forum, Dr Kunle Olajide, said Nigeria was in serious labour pain and that “nobody is sure of the type of baby that will be born, despite the results of the various ultra-scan that has been done.”
The governor said although he had never doubted the passion of President Muhammadu Buhari to develop the country adding that the issue of restructuring of the country must not be wished away.
Speaking earlier, the chairman of Petals FM, Yinka Odumakin, said the station was out to interpret the signals, describing it as “an enterprise with a pledge to fairness and an oath to put the people first at all times and God above all.”
