Madam Ebifeghe Dikoro, the mother of the running mate to the APC governorship candidate in the forthcoming Bayelsa state governorship election, Timipre Sylva, has been kidnapped.
She was kidnapped at her community in FOROPA ,Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
We gathered that the gunmen stormed the community in two speed boats at about 1am today and shot sporadically to scare away the community members.
It was learnt that the woman, Madam Ebifeghe Dikoro is over a hundred years old.
The Bayelsa State Police Command is yet to confirmed the kidnapped.
However the Director of Media and Publicity of the Sylva/Igiri campaign Organisation confirmed the kidnap to our correspondent in Bayelsa state.
