The suit filed by the APC gubernatorial candidate, Uchenna Nnaji against Peter Mbah of PDP, Frank Nweke of APGA and Chijioke Edeoga of Labour Party has been dismissed by the Enugu State Governorship and State House of Assembly Election Petition.
Justice Kudirat Akano, the chairman of the tribunal stated that the pre- hearing notice filed by the petitioner was premature and ran foul of the 2022 Electoral Act
Nnaji had earlier petitioned the court alleging that the candidates of the three other political parties, PDP, APGA and Labour Party were not qualified to contest in the Governorship election.
