Nigerian youths have continued to show their solidarity for the different political parties and candidates across the country through what has become the “Trekking trend”.
Trekking from Lagos to Abuja, Abuja to Otuoke or even Maiduguri to Abuja is a sure way of becoming a celebrity overnight.
It began with a young man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja to receive the incoming president after he was declared winner of the March 28 elections.
While more youths are embracing the trekking challenge, a new group have completed their own self-given assignment by riding their bicycles.
They rode from Daura in Katsina state to Abuja in solidarity with President Elect General Muhammadu Buhari.
