In order to forestall what might be a huge upset in the election of the leaders of the eighth National assembly, the APC is reaching out to all its members who may be aggrieved after the emergence of the party’s official candidates on Saturday.
The party said in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday by its National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni that it is natural for some members to be disappointed by the outcome of the straw poll.
Senator Ahmed Lawan emerged the party’s candidate for the President of the Senate and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila for Speaker, House of Representatives.
APC while explaining that its role is that of an honest broker appealed to all aggrieved members to allow peace to reign, in the overall interest of not just the party but the entire nation.
