The 8th edition of Central Bank Of Nigeria Governor’s Golf Cup has come and gone with Banjo Adeleke emerging the overall winner.
Adeleke and Police Inspector, Rachael Danjuma clinched the major category prizes at the tournament held during the weekend at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja.
Mr. Adeleke fired 70 net to emerge the overall winner in 12 handicap in the 18-hole tournament that was attended by over 200 golfers.
Mr. Danjuma,who played alongside male golfers, signed for the score of 80 net in the handicap 0-20, outplayed other contestants in categories 1.
The one-day tournament, which featured prominent Nigerians including captain of the IBB Golf Club, Tam Brisibe, former captains of the club, Anthony Azogu, Joe Gadzama and others, is annual event sponsored by the Central Bank of Nigeria as part of its social corporate responsibility in support of golf and sports development in the country.
