The National Council of State is meeting at the Presidential Villa Abuja
It will be its last meeting before the handover to a new administration
on the 29th of May
All living former Heads of state and government were present at this meeting
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo came in a few minutes after the meeting had commenced
President-elect Muhammadu Buhari who has not regularly attended the meeting was the first Head of State to arrive for the meeting
The council is supposed to discuss a memo from President Goodluck Jonathan on the performance of Acting Inspector General of Police,

A meeting of the National Police Council slated for 2pm may likely then confirm the appointment of Acting Inspector General of Police.
