Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, is reported to have been appointed Chief of Staff to President, Bola Tinubu.

According to the Lagos City Reporters, the announcement was made when the President met with the Progressives Governors Forum in Abuja.

Reports has it that a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa state, Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, is the new Deputy Chief of Staff.

The President also appointed a former Governor of Benue State, George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

These appointments are coming four days after the President assumed office on Monday May 29.
