There are very clear indications that the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Femi Adesina is on his way to becoming the Spokesman to incoming President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The story with broke earlier today, Wednesday is getting unofficial confirmations. HOMELAND NEWS put a call accross to Mr. Adesina who told us that nothing is official yet.
He informed us that he has been invited to Abuja for talks.
This may eliminate further speculations on who will occupy that very sensitive office which Reuben Abati had to struggle with for the past four years.
During the elections, Mallam Garba Shehu held sway as the spokesman of the Buhari Campaign Organisation giving rise to rumours that he may step into Dr. Abati’s shoes.
Mr. Adesina, though he works in an organisation owned by the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzo Kalu, who was deeply in the PDP, did not hide his support and admiration of the former Military dictator, Muhammadu Buhari.
Femi Adesina, a seasoned journalist and prolific writer is the Managing Director of the Sun Newspapers. He carved his teeth during his days at Concord Newspapers. He was late last month re-elected the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors for another two year term.
