The Federal Government College, Imiringi in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has been shut down as cholera outbreak hits the school.
A close source told HOMELAND NEWS in Yenagoa that eleven students have been rushed to the Federal Medical Center in Yenagoa for emergency treatment.
The source said no death has been recorded so far but parents are already trooping to the school to pick their wards.
The Bayelsa State Ministry of health was yet to come out with any statement on this while effort to speak with the Health Commissioner by our correspondent has been unsuccessful.
