The Independent National Electoral Commission has extended the deadline for collection of Permanent Voter Cards across the country by two weeks.
A statement by by the Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Kayode Idowu, says the collection will continue until March 22.
INEC had earlier announced March 8 as the date for the closure of collection of PVCs.
This latest extension, according to INEC, offers the last opportunity for duly registered persons to collect their PVCs before the general elections scheduled for March 28 and April 11.
