Dr. Wale Babalakin will have to wait till the 15th of June, for the court to hear his application challenging fresh charges pressed against him.

The chairman of Bi-Courtney Limited is being prosecuted by the EFCC over a four point seven billion naira fraud.

He was alleged to have, with others, aided a former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, who is now serving a jail term in the United Kingdom, to siphon public funds.

Earlier in February this year, Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo of the Lagos High Court had dismissed an amended 27 count filed against Mr. Babalakin and four others on the alleged fraud.
