CMembers of Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) have warned its embattled leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike to stop using the group to harass and intimidate Ndigbo.

The organization spoke on Monday through its suspended National Director of Information, Uchenna Madu in Awka, during the Igbo day 2014 celebration.

Mr. Madu told  Newsmen that Ndigbo should know that the MASSOB’s struggle for Biafra was not a one man show “rather, a collective struggle.

He said the organization had been under bondage for the past 15 years because of the way it was piloted by Uwazurike, adding that the struggle would take a new dimension in no distant time.

According to him, the new dimension would now involve Igbo leaders of thought, traditional rulers among others, and would no longer be a one man show.

HOMELAND NEWS reports that MASSOB has been facing serious internal squabble which recently led to its factionalization and suspension of some members that are indisposed to Raplh Uwazurike’s style of leadership.

The Limited successes of the movement can also be seen through its inability to reach out to Igbo elites with a sellable persuasion. This is believe by many to be a deliberate strategy by the leadership to keep contrary views to the barest minimum.
