The Chances of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau state ahead of the 2015 general elections appears threatened following the establishment of a parallel party in the state.

In a press statement signed by Ambassador Fidelis Tapgun, a former governor in the state, Haruna Dabin, the immediate past State chairman of the party, John Alikali, Godfrey Miri, Jimmy Cheto Chris Bature, Victor Lar all gubernatorial aspirants in the last PDP gubernatorial elections and nine others said their decision to form a parallel party was because Governor Jonah Jang  has hijacked the Party’s structure.

The group has therefore formed what it called the reformed peoples democratic party with secretariat along Number 2 Helen Gomwalk road with a nine member protem executives which has Ambassador Ibrahim Kasai as Chairman.

The group say they will resist injustice and imposition by the state governor and party executives, warning that the reformed peoples democratic party will not  will vote President Jonathan since  to vote for President Goodulck Jonathan in the 2015 Presidential elections.

The group say it will not also recognize the Senator GNS Pwajok as the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state
