To this end, FIDA has commenced mobilization of women advocacy groups to drum up support for the passage of the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Bill before the end the 7th National Assembly
President of FIDA in Nigeria Hauwa Shekarau stated this in Abuja at a one-day sensitization workshop on Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Bill for 100 members of Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN).
