The FCT Administration has perfected plans to create
one million jobs in the next 5 years through Public- Private Partnership
The FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed disclosed this at the weekend in Edo State in his acceptance speech of the honorary doctorate degree conferred on him by the Igbinidion University, Okada.
To achieve this goal, Senator Mohammed said a number of innovative policies have been designed by his Administration to give Nigerians a first class city with the private sector to take the lead in infrastructure investment while the Government focuses on policy, human capital development and enabling environment for investment
Some of these policies, according to the minister include the FCT Land Swap Initiative, revealing that development of 10 districts has commenced with expected investment of over three Trillion naira and 250,000 new jobs to be created in the next 5 years
